Delivery
Most orders will be despatched within 10 days however hand-made products may take up to 21 days to be despatched. If there is a delay for any reason we will notify you at as soon as possible.
Before placing urgent orders contact info@theweddingdresscompany.co.uk to ensure we can meet your time scale.
Once despatched in the UK orders usually arrive in 3 - 4 days. International orders can take up to 10 days depending on customs. We do not take responsibility for late or non-delivery due to factors outside our control. Most packages will require a signature on delivery. If you are unable to sign for your package items sent by Royal mail will be held at your local sorting office. Recorded Delivery items will be held for 7 days. Special Delivery & International Signed For will be held for 3 weeks after which time it will be returned to The Wedding Dress Company. If a package has been returned to The Wedding Dress Company because delivery was not possible the cost of re-sending the package will be the responsibility of the customer.
International Deliveries
We are able to ship internationally but please contact us prior to ordering so that we can discuss international shipping quotes for your order. The Wedding Dress Company is not responsible for any import taxes that are incurred once the products have been dispatched.
Postage
UK & Northern Ireland orders will be sent by Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery.
Order total up to £30 = £2.95
Order total £30 to £150 = £5.95
All orders over £150 are shipped free of charge.
Returns
Please contact us by phone or email info@theweddingdresscompany.co.uk if you wish to return your order.
Products can be returned within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange, less deductions for postage and packaging. All items must be returned in the same perfect unused condition as they were despatched and in their original packaging with tags still attached. Provided the item you wish to return is in its original condition and in its original packaging, we will issue a full refund within 28 days of receipt of the item by us. Original condition means that the item is unworn and that there are no marks or scratches on the item. The item being returned must not have come into contact with any perfumes, hairsprays or other chemicals.
Please note: for hygiene reasons, we are unable to exchange or refund pierced earrings and certain personal accessories (such as underwear). Custom orders, bespoke orders or items which have been tailored to your individual style requirements are non-refundable.
If the goods you have received are faulty or you have received the wrong goods by mistake, please follow the procedure outlined above. You have 14 days from receipt of the faulty or wrong goods to notify and return them to us.
We require all return items below £30 to be returned by Royal Mail recorder delivery and all items above £30 are sent by Royal Mail special delivery. We do not take any responsibility for returned items that are not received and request that you contact Royal Mail directly. We reserve the right to reject a return if we suspect that a customer is taking advantage of our returns policy.
Gift Returns
To protect security interests, we are only able to process returns and refunds when dealing with the original purchaser of the goods. If you need to return your gift, please inform the person who purchased it so that they can return the gift to us for a full refund.
This returns & refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.
